The 40th Light Signal Construction Battalion was composed on 450 African American men that served in the Europe on the front lines in World War Two. Their primary job was to build communications lines between Allied forces. I designed a website in 1998 aimed at honouring the servicemen of this Battalion, and had also hoped to find out if there were any surviving members. The official US Army Historian of the 40th Signal Battalion commended on my work.

A genealogical magazine, Family History Monthly, took interest in my story, and published an article on the website in 2006.
